Memorial Hospital of South Bend is a short-term acute care hospital located in South Bend, Indiana. The hospital has 526 beds and is a designated Level II trauma center. Clinical services include inpatient and outpatient surgery, heart and vascular, newborn intensive care, pediatrics, childbirth, children’s therapy, cancer, rehabilitation, sleep disorders, sports medicine, radiology, bariatrics, occupational health and clinical research. The hospital also provides patient and family support services, community outreach, and imaging services.
Memorial Children's Hospital is the region's only designated children's hospital. We welcome and treat children with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses from more than 20 referral hospitals throughout Southwestern Michigan and Northern Indiana. Our world-class team includes pediatric hospitalists and intensivists, registered nurses, child life specialists, pediatric diabetic educators, pediatric dietitians, social workers, neonatologists, pediatric oncologists, respiratory therapists, clinical nurse specialists, pastoral care, and pediatric specialists in physical therapy, pulmonary medicine and infectious disease.
Memorial Epworth Center is the inpatient psychiatric care division of Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Memorial has been the medical cornerstone of Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan for more than 100 years with a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for those in the region. At Memorial Epworth Center, we’ve combined the leadership support from Memorial Hospital with specially trained behavioral health specialists to build the leading community resource for inpatient mental health care in the region.
